JJF ART and WRITING EXHIBIT

THE BANK BUILDING LOCATED AT 123 EAST SECOND
Our community art and writing exhibit begins at 10 am till 5 pm. Exhibiting works from local elementary, junior high, high school and college students.
We have exceptional talent among our community’s youth and our community enjoys seeing it showcased in the Art Exhibit.

This year's theme for our writing contest: Milestones Blues history is a timeline of milestones, from W.C. Handy's "Memphis Blues" published as sheet music to Mamie Smith's first blues hit, "Crazy Blues," to the invention of the electric guitar and the British Invasion. What milestones have you reached in your life? What future milestones are you looking forward to? Write about a significant event (in your life or in the world) in the form of a personal essay/memoir, poem, or flash fiction.

Poster award exhibit posters and Coloring books with a selection of our art and writing students works will be for sale.
